CareerlaunchUSA is a career development firm that launches people’s careers to the next level and helps displaced professionals and confused job seekers get on the right career path in order for these individuals to find fulfillment in their occupations. Using professional career tools and proven strategies that work, people are able to move forward confidently and successfully with their job search.
HISTORY
As a professional career coach, Amy Gubser has many years of training and education under her belt. Before establishing CareerlaunchUSA in 2006, she spent some time as a consultant for Drake, Beam, Morin (DBM)-an international outplacement firm. While at DBM, she thoroughly enjoyed helping others improve their career marketing documents and prepare for the interview process. After DBM, Gubser went on to become a corporate trainer for one of the largest banks in Florida. After taking some time off to raise her family and volunteer, she decided to re-enter the workforce and establish her career in 2005. When Gubser couldn’t find a more flexible professional position, she decided to start her own career-consulting firm. Ultimately, it was her passion to help people find fulfillment in their careers that propelled her to start CareerlaunchUSA.

As a professional career coach with years of training and experience under her belt, Amy knows what works and what doesn’t work when it comes to positioning clients for their next great opportunity. She helps both companies and individuals handle change and career transition. Her consulting experience includes working with groups and individuals in the areas of career decision making, assessment tools, job search, career and change management, networking, interviewing techniques, resume and cover letter writing, interview training for managers, and conducting workshops.
Whether seeking a new job or career, Amy equips her clients with the tools necessary for success. By working with a variety of topnotch global executives and career professionals, Amy has attained the knowledge and understanding necessary to share her expertise by going more in-depth with the job search process. Amy guides her clients from start to finish in order to aid them in finding their dream job.
She uses her prior experience as a management development specialist and outplacement consultant, executive recruiter, and her expert knowledge of marketing and coaching skills to help people stand out from the crowd and launch their careers to new heights.
Amy holds a master’s degree in adult education/human resources from the University of Houston in Clear Lake, Texas and a bachelor’s degree in education from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. Job skill sets will evolve. Being bilingual, working with the latest technological tools, and obtaining the highest level of education will become essential. As far as career coaching is concerned, it will expand to all categories of work and evolve from generalist to specialist.
